FAT Factory Acceptance Test Equipment for the Amur Gas Processing Plant (GPP) under construction near the city of Svobodny, Amur region in the Far East of Russia, is completed this week in Varaždin, where an impressive facility is set to become one of the largest natural gas processing plants in the world .

It will serve as an essential link in the natural gas supply chain to China through the pipeline “Power of Siberia”.

The synergy of two Croatian companies in the field of mechanical engineering, Metal Industry Varaždin MIV (manufacturer of butterfly valves) and HYDROMAT Ivanec (manufacturer of actuator systems for controlling butterfly valves), completed and delivered very important equipment for the safety closure of expansion tanks and the safety relief of cooling towers.

The equipment is commissioned by the Hungarian subsidiary of the German engineering company Enexio with numerous references in the equipment of gas plants.
